Similar Pathogen Targets in Arabidopsis thaliana and Homo sapiens Protein Networks

#NetworkScience

Ken Wickiser and I recently had a new paper accepted to PLoS One.  We noticed that pathogens attack structurally similar parts of protein networks in humans and the Arabidopsis reference plant.  The full article is available at PLoS ONE.

Likewise, a video lecture on the article is available on YouTube at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37DESwNAsnc&feature=youtu.be

Further, we also have slides for this article posted here.

Please feel free to contact me at paulo.shakarian@usma.edu if you have any questions on this work.
